Meatpacking District Uncorked

I recently attended the New York City Wine and Food Festival.  It was my first time and I was super excited!  Of the several events, I went to the Meatpacking District Uncorked event hosted by the Cooking Channel.  Local food trucks were present and several restaurants in the district offered tastings from their menu.  Personalities from the Cooking Channel were in retail stores with samples of wine.  It was a really fun event showcasing what the Meatpacking District had to offer and I was happy that I was able to participate.

Here's just a few shots of the great food that I sampled that night.
Go Burger truck slider
fluke ceviche marinated in yuzu by Tanuki Tavern
shrimp roll from Luke's Lobster

Sweet Street's jelly roll cupcakes

my Iron Chef face
The best part of the event was being able to dress up in a chef's jacket and posing like an Iron Chef.  Fun Times!

If you are interested in joining in future events or see the past activities check out Food Network's New York City Wine and Food Festival.
