Featured: Bittersweet Treats Pasadena

Thanks to Cathy, from Gastronomy Blog, she introduced me to this cute new dessert shop in Pasadena, Bittersweet Treats.  They have all the classic treats you could want to satisfy any sweet tooth.  Cathy and I munched on toffee chocolate chip cookies, barreo cookies (their spin on an Oreo cookie) and homemade blood orange sorbet.  Everything there is all made in small batches and from scratch using the finest ingredients.  The design of the shop is so damn cute too! Homey yet contemporary.  Oh, and did I mention Top Chef: Just Desserts season 1 finalist Danielle Keene is co-owner?dessert shop

We came to Bittersweet Treats on National Wear Red Day, a day supporting the fight against women's heart disease in America.  My outfit consisted of my most comfy Uniqlo t-shirt dress with a red Old Navy peacoat, and tawny Coach boots.

After our sugar fix you could imagine how happy I was to find a sweets shop as cute and delicious as this.  I would much rather receive treats from here than boxed chocolates on Valentine's Day (hint, hint).  They are located not too far from Old Town Pasadena, across from Pasadena City College.  The perfect spot for a pick-me-up between classes.
